Happy Hour

Woohoo!! It's Friday 💃

This was not the "cocktail" I had in mind to end this week 😔 No chemo today, just fluids to rehydrate me. A new kind of "happy hour" for me.

It's been a rough week on this new chemo. Neuropathy on my face (bridge of my nose to my chin), left arm from elbow to fingertips, and right fingers. Numb and tingling sensation 🤷🏻‍♀️ Mouth sores again 😟 My body is achy and weak 😖

Since this is all happening on a new-to-me chemo, I reported it all to my doctor's office and they had me come in for labwork and to see a PA. I'm now at the hospital getting fluids, electrolytes, magnesium, and antinausea meds. Turns out I'm also dehydrated, anemic, and neutropenic.

Sooo, once again I'm asking for your prayers. I got to enjoy the first part of this week while my sister visited. It was mostly quiet and restful and for that I am thankful. Now to feel better for my anniversary Sunday and so we can leave for our trip one week from today ❤
